Connect your IP telephony system to the RedVozTelecom service for superior-quality communications from anywhere in the world.

If you represent a large company, call center or telecom operator, you may already have your own phone system installed. By connecting your system to the RedVozTelecom cloud, you can make high-quality calls to any country in the world at the best rates. You can also connect your number to any of 90 countries worldwide.

What is a SIP trunk and what is it for?

SIP is the basic IP telephony protocol. If your company already has a phone setup, connecting through a SIP trunk is the best way to reach the whole world. SIP connectivity is far more reliable and flexible than a digital telephony transmission connection (PRI), since it can use several Internet connections for maximum reliability.

To connect to the RedVozTelecom cloud, your phone system must support a SIP connection. If you have a PBX without SIP support, you can attach an IP telephony gateway to it (through ports for external phone lines, analog or digital PRI/E1).

A voice system can be connected via SIP in two ways:

  • Using a SIP username (login) and password. It is the easiest and fastest way, compatible with almost any device. To connect, simply register and copy the connection details from the "Settings/SIP Settings" section. Setup instructions for the most popular hardware and software can be found on the website. This connection suits both small and large systems, but its main drawback is that only one CallerID can be used per connection for calls (setting the purchased or verified number as the caller ID shown when a call is made).
  • Creating a SIP trunk with IP authorization. It is suitable for large call centers and VoIP operators. It lets you send any number of connected numbers as CallerID. A mandatory requirement for the second connection type is having an external, static IP address on your phone system. For more information on how to set up IP authorization, see the «Contact us«. Incoming calls from virtual numbers can also be routed to your server's IP (call routing to the SIP URI).
